Common questions

Can you convert a whole DVD in one go?

Each .vob file converts individually (DVDs split video into ~1 GB chunks). Convert each chunk, then join the MP4s in any editor — or use batch conversion (Pro) to process them together.

Will DVD menus and subtitles come across?

No — menus are a disc-navigation feature and burned-in DVD subtitles are image streams; the main video and audio convert. Softsubs from a separate .srt file can be handled by the subtitle tools.

Copy-protected commercial DVDs?

Encrypted commercial DVDs (CSS) can't be processed — we don't circumvent copy protection. Home-video and self-authored DVDs convert fine.

Is there a file size limit?

Free users can convert files up to 25 MB without an account. Pro raises that to 500 MB per file with 3,000 credits a month; Business goes to 5 GB.
