Camcorder → everywhere
MTS/M2TS files play badly outside the camera's own software. MP4 uploads to YouTube, drops into any editor, and plays on every phone and TV.
Private & secure
Uploaded over HTTPS, processed on EU servers, never shared with third parties, and permanently deleted after 1 hour. Never used to train AI.
Audio-only option
Just need the sound from a clip? Pick MP3 in the format picker and we extract the audio track instead.

How it works

Re-encoded to standard H.264 — the download link is valid for 15 minutes.

Common questions

Is there any quality loss?

The clip is re-encoded to H.264 at quality-targeted settings — visually faithful for typical footage. Business plans can also export edit-grade ProRes/DNxHR if you're taking the clip into a professional NLE.

My camcorder splits recordings into many .mts files — can I join them?

Convert each file to MP4 here, then join them in any editor. Batch conversion (Pro) handles up to 50 clips in one go.

What's the difference between MTS and M2TS?

Same AVCHD recording format — .mts is the extension the camera writes, .m2ts is what some software renames it to. Both are accepted and convert identically.

Is there a file size limit?

Free users can convert files up to 25 MB without an account. Pro raises that to 500 MB per file with 3,000 credits a month; Business goes to 5 GB.
